Ερχεται το μεγαλύτερο διήμερο φεστιβάλ της dark wave – ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025 the Death Disco Open Air Festival returns!

After a sensational summer first venture in July 2023 at Technopolis City of Athens and its successful indoor version in the winter of 2024 at Fuzz Live Music Club, the Death Disco team returns at the beginning of Autumn 2025. Having as headliners the New Wave poet and pioneer of electronic music Anne Clark on the one hand, and Peter Hook, perhaps the most important bass player of all of times and the only person on earth who keeps alive the spirit of Joy Division, Death Disco is laying the foundations for another unforgettable two-day Open Air Festival.

Anne Clark, having in her quiver an impressive discography and some of the most emblematic singles of all time (with the absolute club hit “Our Darkness”on top, which to this day finds its place with equal ease in the dark and in the electronic / techno dancefloors as well) and with the impetus given by her recent sold out European tour, she returns to Athens with a full band, 17 whole years after her last visit.

Peter Hook, with his work in Joy Division and New Order considered unsurpassed, comes with his band Peter Hook and The Light, to present us a set exclusively based on these two behemoths of post punk / new wave / synth pop music.

With them another iconic Manchester post punk band, The Chameleons. One of the most influential and marginalized forms of alternative music of the 80’sat the same time, which nowadays finds the recognition it deserves with bands like Interpol and Oasis citing them as a major influence and now considered one of the greatest post punk bands of all time.

The new blood of the scene is well represented with Australian Marc Dwyer’s Buzz Kull. After their sold out appearance at the beginning of 2024, he returns to Athens with his unique EBM / Industrial / Cold Wave creation, the freshest and most innovative that modern “dark” music has to offer.

The first five bands are completed with the German Klangstabil, who return in 2025 to the concert action to prove the whole world from the stage why they are considered the top form of IDM / Electro music.

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025, Athens will once again be at the concert center of “dark” music. With a line up that will once again make the heads of the alternative scene turn towards our country, Death Disco Open Air 2025 will be the ultimate domestic – and one of the most important worldwide – concert event of the dark scene in 2025.
