Οι πόλεις βάζουν τα γιορτινά τους παρά την πανδημία

    Φωτογραφικό αφιέρωμα στις ήδη στολισμένες πόλεις του κόσμου.

    Σίγουρα διαφορετικά, σίγουρα μοναχικά, σίγουρα περίεργα, σίγουρα μελαγχολικά. Ο Δεκέμβρης μπήκε και οι πόλεις ντύνονται τα γιορτυνά τους και ετοιμάζονται να γιορτάσουν τα φετινά Χριστούγεννα στη σκιά της πανδημίας.

    Ίσως με λιγότερη λάμψη και χωρίς την μαζική συμμετοχή του κόσμου να δίνει την ζωηρότητα που απαιτεί ένα στολισμένο γιορτινά κάδρο, τα φετινά Χριστούεγεννα ίσως είναι τα πιο ζωντανά στην ουσία τους.

    Ο πλανήτης έχοντας πάρει το μάθημά του για τη σημασία της υγείας, των συστημάτων υγείας, της ανθρώπινης ζωής, της αλληλεγγύης, της συνεργασίας, του περιβάλλοντος καλείται να κρατήσει λίγο.

    Και οι πόλεις βάζουν τα γιορτινά τους για να στείλουν μια ηλιαχτίδα αισιοδοξίας σε όλους εμάς που μένουν ο ένας μακριά από τον άλλο για να προστατεύσουμε ο ένας τον άλλο.

    Από τη Νέα Υόρκη και την Καλιφόρνια στις ΗΠΑ, την πιο βαριά πληττόμενη χώρα από την υγειονομική κρίση μέχρι την Ιαπωνία και τις ασιατικές χώρες που θεωρούνται πως έχουν διαπρέψει στην διαχείριση της πανδημίας, και από το Παρίσι της Γαλλίας που βρέθηκε στο επίκεντρο του δεύτερου κύματος μέχρι τα Βαλκάνια που δοκιμάζουν τις αντοχές τους, οι πόλεις ξεκίνησαν να στολίζονται με ένα ξεχωριστό σκοπό, να μας εμψυχώσουν.
